Today we’re going to talk about protein. It is so important to be eating the correct amount of it every single day. If you don’t eat enough of protein, your body starts feeding on it’s own muscle. So if you’ve been struggling to gain muscle, maybe thats why? Theres a way of finding out how much of protein you need in a day. Multiply your body weight in kgs by 0.8, or you can multiply your weight in lbs by 0.37. The number you get is the amount of protein in grams that you should be eating in a day. For example, I weigh 47 kgs so that means I need to eat 37 g of protein a day. This is very important guys. Especially for this months challenge where the goal is to get shredded, gain muscle, and get amazing abs!
Once you’ve found out how much protein you need to eat in a day heres a list of foods that are super high in protein to help you!
1 egg – 7g protein
1 serving chicken breast – 14 g
1 tbsp peanut butter – 7 g
10 almonds – 7 g protein
1 serving cottage cheese- 8 g
