Hi guys! I had some cheats today, but I’m not so sure it was in moderation :p SO heres the new rule: On weekends I can only eat one cheat per day. I can’t waste my entire weeks work! Anyways I wanted to talk about some detox foods that are in season right now!
1. Ginger – contains antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds. Also boosts the immune system 🙂
2. Beets. Not my favourite vegetable, but it’s insanely good for me, so I have no choice.. This veggie also had antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds and it also contains tons of fibre.
3. Pomegranate- fights cancer, aids in weight loss and it’s delicious. So.. eat up!
4. Apples- Now theres a reason why I eat apples everyday. It is high in insoluble fibre which soaks up toxins.
